What I Do To Keep Myself Healthy

I am so happy with the changes that have been made within the past year. I have lost 20 pounds, cleared up my skin, and my hair is growing long and strong. People have asked me what have done to improve my health and appearance. I always tell them that I live a healthy lifestyle.

 

I make sure that I get at least eight hours of sleep every night. There are no exceptions to this. If I go to bed late, then I always give myself extra time to sleep. I also start my day off by drinking a glass of lemon water. The lemon water is not only tasty and refreshing, but it also helps cleanse my system.

 

Before I go to work, I go for a walk. This helps boost my energy and makes it easier for me to focus on my work day. I used to drink coffee because I always felt sluggish. However, I have found that taking a walk before work is much more effective for increasing my energy.

 

I drink plenty of water during the day. I have a timer that reminds me to drink water every two hours. I try to drink at least two liters of water per day. The water keeps me hydrated and focused.

 

When I get home, I prepare dinner for my family. I believe that it is important for my husband, kids and I to eat dinner together. Studies have shown that family dinners not only keep families healthy, but it also keeps families together. After dinner, I go for a walk with my family. My whole family is committed to living a healthy lifestyle. Everyone goes to bed by 10 p.m.
